Grounds have been closed for training.
Due to the wet weather Marks Oval grounds are closed until further notice.
Reminder to all that our team photos will be taken this week. Please be sure to arrive early and organise your team in height order and wearing full playing strip.
We have been asked if we have photos of a team from the 80’s by a former player, but unfortunately we don’t so maybe you can help.
We only have a few details to work with, but from the information provided maybe you can help. The team that we are looking for photos of had a coach with the surname of Whippet and another by the name of John “Ducka” Donnerly. David Armstrong was a member of the team and John Marks was associated with the club at the time.
If you have any photos, please let us know via Facebook Messenger.
We’re about to kick off a fundraising drive to raise money for Belmont Football Club. It would be great if you could roll up your sleeves and help.
The good news is that this fundraiser is super simple… and delicious.
Cadbury Fundraiser: we’re selling Freddo and Caramelo Koala Funpack.
Every box of Freddo and Caramelo Koala Funpack we sell will raise $60. So we’re asking players and/or parents to sell at least one box for us. Feel free to grab another box if you’ve got lots of hungry buyers lined up!
Please collect your box of Freddo and Caramelo Koala Funpack on:
Date: 11th May 2019
At: Marks Oval Clubhouse
Tips for selling your treats
• Each item sells for $1
• Sell to family members, colleagues, friends or neighbours
• We don’t recommend that children sell the products – if they are involved, please ensure an adult is with them at all times

Developed using materials from the Office of the Children’s Guardian the Child Safe Sport Workshop is designed for club committees, administrators and volunteers, the workshop will cover:
· Practical ways clubs can be more child safe
· Child safety policy, procedures and recruitment
· Creating a child safe culture
· Why listening to and involving children is important
· The Working with Children Check
· Link to useful resources, templates and tools.

Places are still available.
Just a quick reminder for those teams taking part on Wednesday afternoon.
Please be on time for a 4pm start. Teams will be placed into groups of 16 and rotated through drills every 8 minutes. Coaches will need to follow and assist their team at each station. If you are late you will miss your drill.
Coaches need to bring along the cones and balls for drill setup.
Due to limited number some players have unfortunately missed out so if you are booked in and are unable to make it then please let us know. We would like as many kids as possible to be involved.
You can contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
If your team usually trains at 4pm on Wednesday afternoon and you are not taking part in the Jets session the Rooball field and surrounding areas will be the only areas available.
Shorts and Socks are on sale this Saturday from 10am to 11am.
For a limited time shorts and sock are being sold less than cost price.
Shorts $20 and socks $10. Stocks are limited.
If you are unable to make it this Saturday then arrive a bit earlier on game day and we will sought you out.
We need a couple more u12 players to ensure that our players can be substituted and take a break during games. If you know anyone interested to play for under 12s please let them know and get in touch. email@example.com.
